Karl E. Ceyrolles, age 82, a hard-working family man and a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed away at home surrounded by his family on Friday, July 7, 2017. He was born on October 22, 1934 in Coraopolis to the late William Ceyrolles and Bertha (Johnson) Sielatycki. Karl married the love of his life on November 23, 1957, Joan (Hepp) Ceyrolles. They had five beautiful children: Karla J. Ceyrolles Krull, Cecelia J. Ceyrolles Vallandingham (Ted), William J. Ceyrolles M.D. and the late Sara A. Ceyrolles and infant son William Paul Ceyrolles. Karl cherished his four grandchildren: Kamron D. and Karly J. Krull and Adam M. and Karson E. Vallandingham. Karl is also survived by his two sisters: Judith Ceyrolles Wilcock (Robert) and Kathie Ceyrolles Gambaro (Hamilton) and two half-sisters: Debra Ceyrolles Kowalski and Diane Ceyrolles Douglas; and his special sister-in-law: Jean Hepp Klems. Karl retired in 1996 as a conductor for 42 years for CSX Railroad, formerly P & LE Railroad. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, VFW Post 402 and had served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1955. Karl loved his wife, children and grandchildren and will be remembered for his kindness and generosity. Visitation Sunday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where prayers will be recited on Monday at 9:00 AM followed by Mass at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph Church. Father Richard Jones will officiate. Burial with military honors will follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
