Joseph S. Dombi

Joseph S. Dombi, 100 of Hopewell Township passed on Thursday February 15, 2018. Born April 4, 1917 in McKees Rocks, PA, son of the  late Joseph S. Sr. and Jenny (Szitas) Dombi; Beloved husband of the late Cecelia Mary Dombi, father of Bernadette (Richard) Brown of Moon Township and Doris (late Gregory) Gurgacz of Hopewell Twp.; grandfather of Richard S. Brown Jr. and Saundra Brown; Great Grandfather of Richard Spence Brown III, Julia Brown, Nicole Brown and Christopher Brown, brother of the late George and William Dombi. Joe was a member of the greatest generation and served in the Army Air Corps. During World War II in the Pacific Theater; He was a welder and enjoyed fixing things and gardening. Viewing Sunday Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd., on Sunday from 4-8 PM where a blessing service will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery with full military honors.
