James Edward Stropp, 76 of Moon Township passed away on Tuesday March 21, 2017. Born December 7, 1940 in Pittsburgh, PA son of the late William P. and Gertrude (Keidish) Stropp. Beloved husband of 57 yrs to Barbara (Leive) Stropp; father of Keith (Maria) Stropp of FL. and Brian Stropp of Moon Township; grandfather of Tasmine and great grandfather of Amayah; brother of the late Robert and William Stropp. He was member of the Boilermakers Local # 154, the Shriners and St. Margaret Mary Church. Visitation Sunday 2-4 & 6-8 PM Copeland’s Moon Township 981 Brodhead Road. Prayers of Transfer Monday 9:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Entombment Coraopolis Cemetery. In lieu of flowers family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association in his memory.
