Ivan Shkraba, age 88, passed upon his knees praying on Friday, November 10, 2017 from his home in Coraopolis Towers. He was born in Oplitsko, Ukraine on September 8, 1929 to the late Dimitriy and Paraskavia (Brodzyk) Shkraba. On May 22, 2015, he was preceded in death by his wife Anna (Semenyuk) Shkraba. Beloved and cherished father of Roman (Olga) Shkraba of North Port, FL and Nadia (Mikhail) Gorban of Sewickley; loving grandfather of Zoryana Shkraba, Natalie Shkraba, Julie Shkraba, Galina (Igor) Romanyuk, Yaroslav (Savanna) Gorban, Lilia Gorban, and Alla (Oleg) Gutsu. well-loved great-grandfather of Miliana Preston, Stella Hoefer, Christina Romanyuk, Jacob Romanyuk, Natalie Romanyuk, Matthew Romanyuk, Iliana Romanyuk, Sophie Gorban,; brother of Vladimir Shkraba of Erie, PA and Michael Shkraba of Idaho. A devoted father and grandfather, he was a pastor and enjoyed reading his bible and praying a lot. Visitation Sunday 5-9 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. where service will be held on Monday at 10 AM. Deacon Stephan Burda, celebrant. Burial at Sewickley Cemetery.
