Genevieve “Jean” D. Konter, 89 of Coraopolis passed on Wednesday January 17, 2018. Born September 21, 1928 in Sewickley, daughter of the late Andrew and Bessie (Dombroski) Robinsky, wife of the late Ronald Konter; mother of Rena Landfried of Stuart, FL, Michael (Linda) Konter of Milwaukee, WI, Gary (Arlene) Konter of Wireton, PA and David Konter of Coraopolis; grandmother of 9; great-grandmother of 8 and great-great grandmother of 2, sister of Edward (Dee) Robinsky of Newport News, VA, preceded in death by her other siblings. Many nieces and nephews still survive. Jean enjoyed sewing and taught ceramics and did upholstering for a lot of people. Visitation Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road on Sunday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Sylvania Hills Memorial Park in Rochester.
