Frederick R. “Fred” Cornell, 79 of Moon Township passed away on Thursday May 4, 2017. Born December 4, 1937 in Pittsburgh, son of the late Frederick A. & Cleora (Brown) Cornell. Beloved husband of Judith A. (Kypta) Cornell; father of Gregory Cornell of Arizona, Steven P. Cornell of Sewickley and Lee Ann Cornell of Moon Township; brother of Cheryl (Don) Brown of Oklahoma. Fred was a machinist and owned and operated Master Machine for over 35 years. He enjoyed classic cars; building and working on them. Viewing Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Road Sunday from 2-4 &7-9 PM where a service will be held on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment Allegheny County Memorial Park, Allison Park. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to the American Lung Association in Fred’s memory.
