Evelyn L. (Chadish) Kisow, age 92, a fantastic mother and grandmother, surrounded with the love of her family, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Friendship Ridge. She was born in Ambridge on February 2, 1924 to the late John and Leona (Hughes) Chadish. On August 11, 1989, she was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Wilbert C. Kisow. In addition to her spouse and parents, she was also preceded in death by her six brothers, Charles Chadish, John A. Chadish, Stanley Chadish, Floyd Work, Theodore Work, and Eugene Work and her granddaughter the late Amanda Keller. Beloved mother of Dorothy Harrenstein of Iowa, Wilbert C. Kisow, Jr. of McDonald, Susan and Deborah Kisow both of Moon Township and Annette Keller of Beaver; cherished grandmother of Carl, Andrea, Brittany, Stephen, John and Rebecca; proud great grandmother of Ryan, Conner, Jadyn, Preston, Shyann, Nora, Evan and Gracie; sister of Audra Bernice Link of Moon Township. A baptized Catholic, she was a resident of the Coraopolis and Moon Area. Visitation Friday 2-8 PM at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd. where a Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, time later. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
