Elizabeth (Betty) A. Reiser

Elizabeth (Betty) A. Reiser, 88, Sewickley, PA, formerly of Moon Twp, passed away peacefully on October 29, 2017.  Born September 21, 1929 in Sewickley, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Wydra) Schawalt.  She graduated from Coraopolis High School and spent the early years of her life working as a waitress for various restaurants, while raising her family.  Later, after expanding her administrative skills, she was employed at the Allegheny Valley School and the former Mariner Health Care. She is predeceased by her husband, Edward C. Reiser, Sr., her sons David M. and Mark A. Reiser, her brothers Joseph and William Schawalt, and a sister Marjorie Geisler. She is survived by her son, Edward (Leslie) Reiser, Jr. of Burgettstown, PA, grandchildren Amber, of Willowick, OH, Travis, of Center Twp, PA, and Garrett Reiser, of Burgettstown, PA, her sisters Mary Ann Nicoletti of Moon, Dolores McCutcheon of Beaver, and an Aunt, Julia Trombetta, of Mckees Rocks, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Copeland's Funeral Home, 981 Brodhead Rd, Moon, PA where a blessing service will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 10 AM, followed by Interment in St. James Cemetery Sewickley, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Allegheny Valley School, 1996 Ewings Mill Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108.
