Edith Dorothy (Dunlap) Smith, 94 of Sewickley passed on Sunday May 21, 2017. Born August 25, 1922 in Sewickley daughter of the late James and Edith M. (Graham) Dunlap; beloved wife of the late Samuel McVeigh and Robert G. Smith. Mother of Bonnie E. McVeigh of Moon Township and Samuel McVeigh Jr. of Cranberry Twp.; sister of Eileen (Late Richard) Kearcher and the late James (late Helen) Moore; aunt of Jennifer (Ted) Bigenho, Cynthia (Mark) Benish, Susan (Daniel) Buchanan, Thomas (Kathleen) Moore, Barbara (Charles) Korentz, Robert (Lisa) Moore and Ronald Moore. Edith was a reservationist for US Air and was an avid 10 K Runner, snow skier, water skier and golfer. Viewing Copeland’s Sewickley, 702 Beaver St. Wednesday 4-8 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 PM. Interment Sewickley Cemetery.
