Douglas Lee Thompkins, III, age 59, well-loved by many family and friends, a life-long resident of Stowe Township, passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Presbyterian University Hospital. Born in Sewickley on March 5, 1957, he was one of five to Rose Lee (Rucker) Thompkins of Pittsburgh and the late Douglas Lee Thompkins, Jr. Beloved and cherished father of Courtney Cain and her sister Tonya; well-loved brother of Rhonda Cloud, Derick (Carole) Thompkins, Bruce (Michelle) Thompkins, and Brynner Thompkins; uncle of Antany, Kiayko, Jeremy and Rayshelle; longtime companion to Delilah Johnson and her children who he loved like his own children: Marcus,Tasha, LayRasha, Shaglenda, Charles and Markeiz,; also a host of friends and family and children that he considered as grandchildren and a big part of his life. Doug was a graduate of Stowe Rox High School, class of 1974.  Doug loved music, watching wrestling, watching and attending Pirate Baseball Games and he loved to TALK! Visitation Sunday 1-5 at Copeland’s Coraopolis, 867 Fifth Ave. with service will be held at 5 PM.
