Dorothy L. (Kelly) Ruffo, age 94, a life-long resident of Coraopolis, passed peacefully into the Hands of Her Lord and Savior on September 25, 2016 at Villa St. Joseph. She was born in Sewickley on February 26, 1922 to the late William and Gertrude (Schminkey) Kelly. On April 13, 1986, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 43 years, Carmel J. Ruffo. Loving mother of Karen (Gary) Bauer of Sewickley and Gary K. (Vicki) Ruffo; cherished grandmother of Sean (Jennifer) Bauer, Janel (Craig) Morrison and Jessica (Christopher) Hemphill; great grandmother of Ian, Evan, Colin and Chloe. Sister of the late Lorraine Ewing. Dorothy, a member of Zion Lutheran Church, had been a Sunday School Teacher and part of the quilting group. She had been a Girl Scout Leader, delivered Meal on Wheels and volunteered at the Food Pantry. She loved flowers and gardening. Burial will be private at Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex, PA.
