Cynthia J. (Wojcik) McCracken loved her children unconditionally. She was a life-long resident of North Huntingdon and passed away on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at Heritage Valley Sewickley at the age of 69. She was born in McKeesport on July 18, 1948. On June 8, 2017, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Harry Lancing McCracken who she married on April 3, 1971. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, the late Leo Julius and Constance Jean (Witte) Wojcik, and her brother Lee Jay Wojcik who died on August 13, 2017. Cherished mother of Karen Santo (Aaron) of Moon Township, Mark McCracken, Kevin McCracken and Maura McCracken all of North Huntingdon; loving grandmother of Hayden, Chase, Romeo, Ty and Kali (and their mother Amanda); sister of Kenneth Wojcik , Raymond Wojcik, and Greg (Connie) Wojcik. Cynthia was a member of St. Agnes Church in North Huntingdon. Cynthia was a Tupperware manager and formerly employed as a unit secretary at Monsour Hospital in Greensburg. She was an excellent seamstress and very creative, making and selling her crafts at craft fairs. Cynthia and Harry both had a great sense of humor and had a passion for gardening and landscaping. Their yard was a showcase in their neighborhood. Visitation Sunday 3-8 and Monday 2-4, 6-8 at Copeland’s Moon Township, 981 Brodhead Rd., where prayers will be recited at 10:00 AM followed by Mass on Tuesday at 10:30 AM at St. Margaret Mary Church. Father Frank Kurimsky will officiate. As they were together in their life, they will be buried together at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies to honor Harry’s service to his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
