Captain Harold Morton Shaw, Jr. USNR, age 91, of Masonic Village, passed away on November 16, 2017 at Ohio Valley Hospital. Born in Philadelphia February 24, 1926 to the late Elizabeth (Insinger) and Harold Morton Shaw, Sr.  A University of Pennsylvania alumnus with an MBA in Hospital Administration from Wagner College, Harold was first an industrial engineer with manufacturing and utility companies in Philadelphia and later a hospital administrator with Presbyterian Hospital in Philadelphia and then Latrobe Area Hospital.   His greatest professional love was his career in the US Naval Reserve, spanning four decades, retiring as a Supply Corps Captain.  Beloved husband for 27 years to Julia (Lympany) Shaw; proud father of Harold M. Shaw III (Barbara) of Bethesda, MD, Thomas P. Shaw (Jacqueline) of Hickory Creek, TX, Daniel C. Shaw (Catherine Bailey) of Albuquerque, NM, Elizabeth S. Klein (Daniel) of Ocean City, NJ; cherished step-father of Susan G. Lympany (Claudia Steele) of Oakdale, PA, Steven S. Lympany (Laurie) of Fuquay Varina, NC, Laurie Rohrer of Orange, CA, John Lympany of Fairmont, WV and Julianne Ballas (Michael) of Strongsville, OH; brother of the late Robert Graham Shaw (surviving wife Betty Shaw of Huntington, PA); grandfather of Philip, Robert, Cairn, Laura, Rachel, Kathryn, Roland, Christopher, Jennifer, James, Sarah, Shane, Aaron, Michael, Maggie and Jack; great grandfather to Silas, Harper, Chase, Charlotte, and Hudson. A memorial service will be held at Masonic Village, Sewickley, PA Sunday, December 17, 2017 at 4 PM.  Captain Shaw will be honored at a graveside service with full military honors on Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10 AM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in his name to Bosque Ecosystem Monitoring Program (BEMP).   http://bemp.org/donate/
